The partner awards inaugurated the winners of the 46th Clermont-Ferrand international short film festival, this Thursday, February 8.
They do not have the right to the Jean-Cocteau room and the official closing ceremony. But the winners taste the same emotion. That of victory. That of leaving with a trophy or a mention while more than 9,000 films were registered for this 46th edition of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
Brought forward to Thursday to lighten the appointment on the last day and to highlight awards often hidden by the grand prizes and other public prizes, the partner awards ceremony took people on a journey this Thursday, February 8. From the Philippines to Colombia, the richness of a festival that is more international than ever.
Two lovely moments marked this end of the afternoon. The strong emotion of the jury and the recipients of the prize for best VR film, the first in history: Emperor by Marion Burger and Ilan J. Cohen. And the waking dream of Clermontoise Marie-Lola Terver who won the Fernand-Raynaud laughter prize on her land, with co-director Paul Jousselin. The mysterious adventures of Claude Conseil.
