L’investigation restarts. The Investigation Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Toulouse (Chins) ordered additional information, Thursday February 8, 2024, in the Jubillar affair. At the request of the general prosecutor’s office, but also of the defense, three specific points will need to be clarified.
The Chins gave two months to the investigating magistrates to investigate. Toulouse News details what we ask of them.
#1. The inmate and his mother
What are their exact links with Cédric Jubillar? To support its request, the public prosecutor’s office relies on a conversation ambiguous intercepted during a visit telephone between a prisoner detained in Lannemezan (Hautes-Pyrénées) and his mother.
This man was detained Seysses (Haute-Garonne) at the same time as the Tarn plasterer suspected of the murder of his wife Delphine. Is it keeper of secrets quick to dynamite instruction? This inmate and his mother have they been in contact direct with the self-proclaimed The most famous guy in Tarn ? This is what the investigators of the Toulouse Research Section (SR) will have to establish.
#2. The witness with the excavator
Is Delphine Jubillar’s body resting under the slab of a house in construction ? Considering the profession of suspect number one, and his knowledge of surrounding construction sites, this hypothesis was obviously considered from the start by the gendarmes. Investigations have also been carried out in this direction, unfortunately without result.
A witness came forward after the conclusion of the investigation to discuss the “disappearance of an excavator” on a site of this type at the beginning of the Jubillar affair. Several houses were then under construction around the couple’s unfinished house – and even just above it. Is this one of these construction sites? The investigators will have to interview this man to close this door.
#3. Flashes of a female medium
This is not a joke. At the request of the defense, justice will have to verify the assertions of a woman calling herself a medium. And who would know where Delphine Jubillar’s body is.
Despite the very random – not to say fanciful – nature of this type of flash, the Cartesian investigators of the SR have already had to, on numerous occasions over the last three years, check GPS coordinates from extra-lucid people who claimed to know where the body of the 33 year old nurse had been concealed. With the success rate that we know.
According to information fromToulouse News, nearly 3,000 letters of this type were sent to law enforcement during the investigation.
