The artificial intelligence tool seems to be increasingly used in dating applications, such as Tinder. In some cases it works: a young Russian used it to meet his wife.
The resources and uses of ChatGPT can be used for everything, for everyone and in a wide variety of circumstances. The artificial intelligence tool is not only useful for writing a cover letter, effective for generating a work document, for translating a text, writing an essay, or even helping you plan your next vacation. It can also be very effective for… finding your soul mate!
Although devoid of humor and emotion, the conversational robot helps singles flirt on dating applications. In some cases, it works. This is what happened to a young Russian: Aleksandr Zhadan, who met his wife on Tinder thanks to ChatGPT, relates the Gizmodo websitespecialized in new technologies.

Around a hundred meetings scheduled thanks to ChatGPT
After multiple unsuccessful date requests on the dating app Tinder, this young resident of Moscow turned to ChatGPT. He programmed the OpenAI tool so that it was “his dating assistant”. Thus, the conversational robot interacted with 5,239 women on Tinder, allowing it to schedule more than a hundred meetings, synchronized with its Google calendar. ChatGPT was programmed to immediately eliminate certain profiles, not to the young man’s liking. The conversational robot, known for its lack of humor, gradually became more “attentive” as versions of ChatGPT 3, then 4, were updated.
These efforts, although ethically questionable, ended up paying off. Aleksandr had a real crush on a certain Karina. The couple met in December 2022, their relationship grew offline, and a few months later the couple moved in together. Then the young man, again on the advice of ChatGPT, asked the young woman to marry him. The latter accepted.
In the meantime, the young man had nevertheless admitted to his sweetheart that he had used a conversational robot at the start of their relationship. His partner clearly did not hold it against him. She even showed herself to be completely understanding, recognizing that he had “spent a lot of time personalizing messages” of the artificial intelligence tool. And what matters to her is their relationship “in real life, which is great”she confided.

A tool that is essential on dating applications?
This Muscovite is not the only one to have used AI to seduce. The tool seems to be gaining ground on dating applications, as Chloé Sondervorst, a journalist specializing in digital cultures for CBC/Radio-Canada, observed and explains in this video (below).

On social networks like TikTok, Internet users do not hide it, and even share their method. ChatGPT can be used to improve your bio, your presentation on dating applications, to find approach phrases related to the interests of the person you are interested in, or even to write a poem. Which can have an effect. Afterwards, is it morally acceptable? That’s another question!
